The weather continues to be grey and so very cold but we still went for a walk and morning coffee in Romsey. It is full of interesting old buildings. Here are two of my favourites. The first is called the Bath House as it is built of Bath stone and is covered in stone carvings. It is a Grade II Listed building built in the mid 19th century by a stone mason and the decoration was to show his skill.
The thatched cottage was derelict for some time but was re-thatched and renovated last year.
