Our first trip was just across the border in Germany to the Vitra Campus in Weil am Rhein which brings together the commercial and cultural aspects of Vitra - a company that manufactures furniture and is dedicated to design and architecture.
The 14 buildings are all designed by famous architects including Frank Gehry and Zaha Hadid. The tour took 2 hours and was fascinating.

ReplyDeleteThey are great aren't they! Vitra is a strange place but it provided me with quite a few pictures as the architecture was amazing. I took most of them on my main camera so they don't qualify for the iPhone blog!
