After an eventful week I longed to be near the sea so this morning we were up and out early to go for a long walk at Lee on Solent and to have a coffee and toasted teacake at the beach restaurant.
As you can see, it was a sunny day with wonderful clouds but the wind was cutting and by the time we stopped for refreshments, we were frozen!

Now we are home, the sky is grey and it is pouring with rain so we certain had the best part of the day.
