Bournemouth Beach

Today started cold and wet for my trip to Poole to see a friend. In the afternoon it cleared up enough for a short trip to the beach at Canford Cliffs. The sea was like a millpond but the beach was criss-crossed with truck tracks where the sand had been moved. We had afternoon tea in the cafe there looking out at the tranquil view across to Old Harry Rocks and the Isle of Purbeck.
